Why it stands out
The 2017 Hyundai Elantra stands out as a compact car that was redesigned inside and out with a clear emphasis on technology, efficiency, and safety. It is presented as a strong value choice that does not feel cheap, and it builds on an already competent outgoing generation with styling, ergonomics, safety, and technology that are described as especially impressive for the money.
That combination makes the 2017 Hyundai Elantra appealing to buyers who want a small car that feels more polished than basic transportation. The available owner feedback reinforces that impression, with praise for comfort, fuel efficiency, and value, along with appreciation for the seating and advanced technology. A noted drawback is acceleration power, so while it is well suited to everyday commuting, it may not satisfy drivers looking for strong performance.

I just lost my Hyundai 2017 in a crash. It was my second Elantra and I drove them both for 8 years. I did routine maintenance but never had any repair bills . They are great cars and that is why I am looking to buy another one.

I recently bought the Limited trim from CarHub in Stafford, VA. The features are great, it drives smoothly, I feel safe in this car, and the value was great as Im able to pay it off without destroying my wallet. I genuinely feel like this car matches up to a Corolla and a Civic, so I highly recommend it!

The 2017 model has some nice upgrades compared with the previous generation. Different front appearance. It also has a better gas mileage and a more sophisticated entertainment system. I would have loved to see also heated seats and a sun-roof which is only available in certain sport versions. But all in all I am very happy about this car and consider it a good value.
