Used 2017 Honda Ridgeline for Sale near Alberta

How much does the 2017 Honda Ridgeline cost?

Prices have softened 15.83% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 77 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of choice if you're comparing condition, mileage, and equipment.

Is the 2017 Honda Ridgeline a good car?

Yes — the 4.88/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise the smooth ride, comfort, and practical features, while the spacious interior and innovative cargo solutions, including the under-bed trunk, come up often as standout strengths. For you, that makes this a smart fit if you want a pickup that prioritises everyday usability and comfort over a more traditional truck feel. With 33.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop carefully.

Is the 2017 Honda Ridgeline reliable?

Owners rate it 4.88/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience, with reliability coming through as a recurring theme. That said, you should still verify maintenance history and confirm that any recalls have been addressed before you buy.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about the model’s reputation and more about whether the specific truck has been maintained properly.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Honda Ridgeline?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 33.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 77 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.83% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $22,949 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Honda Ridgeline's resale value?

The current average of $23,807 CAD sits slightly below last year's $28,285 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the market has become more favourable for buyers, but it can also mean future sellers may need to be realistic about expectations. If you buy now, you may benefit from the lower entry price, though resale gains are likely to depend more on condition and equipment than on broad market momentum. Strong owner satisfaction can help support demand when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.88/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Honda Ridgeline or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 33.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.83% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.88/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the best mix of value, comfort, and owner satisfaction, the 2017 is a strong place to start. If you're especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on whichever truck gives you the best condition and equipment for the money.
