Is the 2016 Ford F-350 Super Duty a good car?

Generally — the 4.2/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction for this truck. Owners consistently praise its impressive towing capability, strong power, and overall durability, and many also like the comfortable, spacious interior for both work and everyday use. The 2016 Ford F-350 Super Duty fits buyers who need serious capability without giving up all comfort, and the available listings suggest there is still enough market activity to shop carefully. Is the 2016 Ford F-350 Super Duty reliable?

Owners rate it 4.2/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to durability, dependability, and a truck that many people feel they can count on for work and daily use. That said, some owners mention styling preferences, which suggests satisfaction is strong but not universal. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a heavy-duty truck can be costly to keep in top shape if it has been worked hard.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Ford F-350 Super Duty?

This is a seller’s market, so you should act selectively and be ready to move when a well-priced truck appears.

• Deal availability: 6.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 59 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices are up 6.81% year-over-year.

If you find a listing below $35,013 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Ford F-350 Super Duty's resale value?

The current average of $41,883 CAD sits slightly above last year's $39,211 CAD.

That upward move suggests the market is still willing to pay for this truck’s capability and reputation. If you buy well and keep the truck in good condition, you may be able to preserve more value than you would with a less in-demand heavy-duty pickup. Strong towing ability and broad buyer interest help support pricing, especially when the truck is clean and properly maintained.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.2/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Ford F-350 Super Duty or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 6.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices are up 6.81% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 4.2/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2016 is a strong choice if you want heavy-duty capability, strong owner satisfaction, and a truck that still feels usable for everyday driving. If you are price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on the best-maintained example rather than chasing the newest badge alone.
