What is the 2017 Dodge Journey's resale value?

The current average of $11,451 CAD sits slightly below last year's $13,563 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make future resale a little more challenging if values continue to soften. For you as a seller, that means condition, mileage, and maintenance records will matter more when it comes time to list. A well-kept example should still appeal to budget-minded shoppers looking for a practical family vehicle.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.2/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Dodge Journey or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 26.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.57% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.2/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a used SUV with broad availability and a lower entry price, the 2017 is worth a close look, especially if you can find one near the low end of the range. If you’re more price-sensitive, keep comparing listings carefully and prioritise the best-maintained example rather than chasing the cheapest one.
