In owner feedback, the 2015 Dodge Journey is described as dependable enough to deliver a smooth, comfortable ownership experience for many drivers. That said, some shoppers should pay close attention to engine reliability concerns when evaluating a used example. For long-term ownership, a careful inspection and service-history review matter because mechanical risk can vary from one vehicle to the next.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Dodge Journey?

This is a moderate buyer’s market, so you can shop selectively without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 15.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 207 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.17% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $7,956 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Dodge Journey's resale value?

The current average of $7,956 CAD sits slightly below last year's $9,605 CAD.

That price movement suggests the model has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help future buyers but may limit upside for a seller. If you buy at the current average or below, you may have less room for further value loss than someone who bought when prices were higher. Strong owner satisfaction can help support demand, but resale will still depend heavily on condition, mileage, and maintenance history.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2015 Dodge Journey or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 15.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.17% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2015 Dodge Journey makes sense if you want a used SUV with strong owner satisfaction, a lower current average price, and enough inventory to compare options. If you are price-sensitive, the 2015 is especially worth a look because the market has softened and there are still deal-priced listings to target.
