Used 2017 Chevrolet Equinox for Sale nearBrampton, ON

How much does the 2017 Chevrolet Equinox cost?

Prices have softened 17.80% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 222 listings available, which suggests you have a decent amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2017 Chevrolet Equinox a good car?

Yes — 4.8/5 is a strong user rating for this model year. Owners consistently point to the spacious interior, smooth ride, and good value for the price, and they also appreciate the comfort features and overall dependability. If you want a roomy, value-oriented compact SUV for everyday use, those strengths line up well with the Equinox’s practical cabin and comfortable ride. With 20.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2017 Chevrolet Equinox reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also highlights dependability, which is encouraging if you want a used SUV you can count on day to day. That said, used buyers should still pay close attention to maintenance records and condition, because long-term ownership risk rises when service history is unclear.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Chevrolet Equinox?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 20.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 222 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.80% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $11,331 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Chevrolet Equinox's resale value?

The current average of $11,335 CAD sits slightly below last year's $13,790 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the Equinox easier to buy now but may also limit upside for a future seller. If you own one, resale value will likely depend heavily on condition, mileage, and maintenance history rather than on broad market momentum alone. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Chevrolet Equinox or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 20.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.80% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: Buy the 2017 if you want a roomy, comfortable, value-focused compact SUV and you can verify that the specific vehicle has been well maintained. If you are especially price-sensitive, the 2016 can be worth a look as a lower-cost alternative, while shoppers who want a more modern redesign may prefer moving to the next generation.
