Used 2016 Volvo XC60 for Sale nearYork, ON

How much does the 2016 Volvo XC60 cost?

Prices have softened 13.95% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 56 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2016 Volvo XC60 a good car?

Yes — the 2016 Volvo XC60 earns a 4.89/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its comfort, handling, and luxurious features, and they also highlight the smooth ride and spacious interior. In practical terms, that makes it a strong fit if you want a compact luxury crossover that feels calm, premium, and easy to live with. With 39.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop carefully.

Is the 2016 Volvo XC60 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.89/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to reliable performance and a trouble-free ownership experience, with comments that suggest you can count on it for everyday use. That said, the electronic user interface is a recurring criticism, so it is worth checking that all infotainment and control functions work properly on any used example you consider. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about the core driving experience and more about making sure the electronics and maintenance history are in good shape.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Volvo XC60?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 39.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 56 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.95% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $14,218 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Volvo XC60's resale value?

The current average of $14,944 CAD sits slightly below last year's $17,367 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the XC60 more attractive to buyers today but less favourable for sellers trying to maximise return. If you own one and plan to sell later, the current trend means you should expect resale value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and service records. A well-kept example may still hold appeal, but the softer pricing environment gives future buyers more leverage.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.89/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Volvo XC60 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 39.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.95% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.89/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a used compact luxury crossover with strong owner approval, a comfortable ride, and a premium feel, the 2016 XC60 is the primary year to focus on. If your priority is stretching your budget as far as possible, you can also compare nearby years for the best-priced example, but the 2016 remains the better all-around starting point for shoppers who value satisfaction and deal availability together.
