Should I buy a 2016 Mazda MAZDA3 or consider a different year?

Choose the 2016 if:

• 27.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.08% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.3/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2016 if you want a stylish, fun-to-drive compact car with strong owner approval and a market that currently favours patient shoppers. If your priority is stretching your budget as far as possible, a nearby year may be worth comparing, but the 2016 is the better pick when you want a balanced mix of value, appeal, and buyer confidence.
