The current average of $14,020 CAD sits slightly below last year's $15,068 CAD.

That softer pricing can be helpful if you’re buying now, but it also means a future seller may need to price carefully to stay competitive. If the market continues to favour shoppers, resale values may remain under some pressure in the near term. Even so, the CX-5’s strong owner satisfaction can help support demand when you eventually sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Mazda CX-5 or consider a different year?
