Backup camera maybe? Loved manual Transmission, price point, and safety and maintenance ratings are top knotch. Would have loved possible mild upgrade option with price negotiation, but next time perhaps!

This is still a seller’s market, so you should act selectively and be ready to move when a well-priced listing appears.

- Inventory: There are 60 listings available.

The upward price movement also indicates that buyers are still willing to pay for clean examples. If you buy carefully and keep the car in strong condition, you may be better positioned when it comes time to sell.
Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
Should I buy a 2016 Hyundai Elantra GT or consider a different year?

Choose the 2016 if:
- 16.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Price trend: Prices are up 2.76% year-over-year.
- Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
The bottom line: The 2016 is a sensible choice if you want a well-liked model year with stable pricing and you can find a clean example near the lower end of the market. If you're more price-sensitive, it can also make sense to compare nearby years and focus on whichever one gives you the best combination of condition, mileage, and asking price.
