What is the 2014 Hyundai Elantra GT's resale value?

The current average of $7,329 CAD sits slightly below last year's $8,239 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the model has become more affordable for buyers, which can make it harder for future sellers to command a premium unless the vehicle is especially well maintained. If you buy at a competitive price now, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation pressure later.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Hyundai Elantra GT or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 19.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.04% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2014 is a solid choice if you want a used Elantra GT with strong owner satisfaction and a lower average price. If you are especially price-sensitive, it is worth comparing nearby years and focusing on the best-priced examples rather than chasing the newest one.
