That small decline suggests resale values have been fairly stable, which is helpful if you're planning to sell in the future. A steady price pattern can make it easier to estimate what your car may be worth later, rather than facing a sharp drop. Strong owner satisfaction also helps support demand when it comes time to list.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Hyundai Elantra GT or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 22.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a used Elantra GT with stable pricing and strong owner feedback, the 2016 is a sensible place to start. If you're especially price-sensitive, keep comparing listings closely and focus on the ones near the low end of the range, since that’s where the best value is most likely to show up.
