Backup camera maybe? Loved manual Transmission, price point, and safety and maintenance ratings are top knotch. Would have loved possible mild upgrade option with price negotiation, but next time perhaps!

Is the 2016 Hyundai Elantra GT reliable?

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Hyundai Elantra GT?
This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on the best-priced examples.
- Deal availability: 27.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 66 listings available.
- Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.

What is the 2016 Hyundai Elantra GT's resale value?
The current average of $10,116 CAD sits slightly above last year's $10,026 CAD.
That small increase suggests the market has been fairly stable, which is helpful if you plan to sell later. A steady price pattern can make it easier to estimate what your car may be worth down the road. If demand stays consistent, you may not face the sharp depreciation swings that can hurt resale timing.
Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
Should I buy a 2016 Hyundai Elantra GT or consider a different year?

Choose the 2016 if:

- Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
- Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
The bottom line: If you want a used Elantra GT with stable pricing and strong owner feedback, the 2016 is a sensible place to start. If you're especially price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby model years to see whether a lower-priced alternative better fits your budget.
