Car stuttered in test drive. EPC error came on and returned to dealership. EPC can be major. With the stuttering the car was not ready to be available for sale

I owned a 15 Passat diesel with a 6 speed manual transmission! It was a great car and I wish I hadn’t done the recall buy back. I would love to have that car back. I currently drive a 17 Passat and also love this car, just missing the manual transmission.
