This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but still move quickly on the right truck.

What is the 2015 RAM 2500's resale value?

The current average of $25,575 CAD sits slightly below last year's $25,729 CAD.

That small decline suggests the market has been fairly stable, which is helpful if you plan to sell later because it points to predictable pricing rather than sharp swings. For you, that means resale risk looks manageable as long as the truck is well maintained and presented cleanly when it comes time to list it. Strong demand for capable heavy-duty pickups can also help support values when the truck has the right equipment and condition.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2015 RAM 2500 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 12.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of capability, comfort, and market stability, the 2015 is a sensible primary choice. If your priority is stretching your budget, a nearby year may be worth a look, but the 2015 gives you a balanced case for shopping now, especially if you can find one priced near the lower end of the range.
