That softer pricing suggests the market has become more favourable for buyers, but it also means future sellers may need to price competitively to stand out. If you buy well now, you may have less downside risk than someone who purchased when prices were higher. Strong owner satisfaction can help support demand when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.3/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2015 Nissan Pathfinder or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 25.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.76% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.3/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2015 Pathfinder makes the most sense if you want a roomy, comfort-focused three-row SUV and you find a well-priced example with a clean history. If you are especially price-sensitive, nearby model years may also be worth comparing, but the 2015 is the better primary path when you want a strong mix of value, space, and owner satisfaction.
