Is the 2018 Nissan Pathfinder reliable?

The 2018 Nissan Pathfinder stands out as a roomy, family-focused three-row SUV that balances comfort, practicality, and capability. Owners describe it as smooth and comfortable, and some specifically highlight it as dependable for everyday use and long-term family duty. This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be choosy if you shop carefully.

• Deal availability: 28.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 220 listings available.

What is the 2018 Nissan Pathfinder's resale value?

The current average of $15,465 CAD sits slightly below last year's $19,136 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Pathfinder has become more buyer-friendly in the used market, which can help you negotiate if you're shopping now. For a future seller, it also means resale expectations should stay realistic unless the vehicle is exceptionally well maintained or equipped. If you buy at the right price and keep the SUV in strong condition, you may be better positioned to limit depreciation pressure later.

Should I buy a 2018 Nissan Pathfinder or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:
