Is the 2015 Nissan Murano a good car?

Generally — the 4.4/5 user rating suggests you’re looking at a well-liked used SUV. Owners consistently praise its smooth ride, stylish design, and spacious interior, and many also value its comfort features and overall value for money. It fits especially well if you want a comfort-first midsize SUV with a more upscale feel and family-friendly practicality. With 22.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2015 Nissan Murano reliable?

Owners rate it 4.4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle that many drivers have found dependable in everyday use, with comfort and value helping it earn repeat approval. At the same time, some owners mention CVT durability concerns, so used buyers should pay close attention to transmission behaviour and service history. For long-term ownership, that means the biggest risk is less about the overall package and more about finding a well-maintained example.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Nissan Murano?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it makes sense to compare listings carefully and focus on condition, history, and price.

• Deal availability: 22.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 106 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.09% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $11,351 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Nissan Murano's resale value?

The current average of $11,498 CAD sits slightly below last year's $13,868 CAD.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the Murano more attractive to used buyers today but less favourable for future sellers. If you buy at the current average, your resale upside may be limited unless you choose a particularly clean, well-equipped example. Strong condition and documented maintenance matter more when a model is already trading below its prior-year average.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2015 Nissan Murano or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 22.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.09% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2015 is a strong choice if you want the third-generation Murano’s comfort-focused design, upscale cabin feel, and current pricing that has moved lower. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a cleaner or better-equipped example offers more value for similar money.
