Is the 2015 Lexus RX a good car?

Yes — the 4.68/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its comfort, reliability, and solid performance, and many also like the luxurious interior and smooth ride. For you, that makes it a strong fit if you want a quiet, comfortable luxury SUV with a reputation for long-term dependability and good value in the used market. With 27.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to find a compelling offer.

Is the 2015 Lexus RX reliable?

Owners rate it 4.68/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback also points to reliability as one of the RX’s defining strengths, alongside its dependable, trouble-free character and the confidence it inspires over the long term. That matters if you want a used luxury SUV you can count on for everyday driving without constant drama.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about core durability and more about finding one that has been maintained properly and hasn’t been neglected.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Lexus RX?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 27.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 62 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $21,024 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Lexus RX's resale value?

The current average of $22,248 CAD sits slightly below last year's $22,319 CAD.

That small decline suggests the market has been fairly stable, which is helpful if you’re thinking about future resale. You’re not looking at a model year that has been sliding sharply, so value retention appears relatively steady. For a future seller, that usually means less risk of a sudden drop in asking prices, especially if the vehicle is well kept and presented cleanly.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.68/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2015 Lexus RX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 27.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.68/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a comfortable, refined, and dependable luxury SUV, the 2015 RX is an easy year to recommend. It makes the most sense if you value a calm driving experience and strong owner satisfaction over sporty handling or the newest feature set. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can also keep an eye on nearby years, but the 2015 remains a sensible primary target when condition and maintenance history look good.
