Reviewed a 2015 Kia Forte on Dec 15, 2021
It was the best deal and the best bang for the buck that’s why I bought it. It’s Peppy. It handles like some expensive luxury cars. I have a base model The LX. Even with a base model I think it should have had cruise control. It has no cruise control. Not sure I would’ve bought it if I realized that at the time of purchase.

How much does the 2015 Kia Forte cost?
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Current Average Price | $8,247 CAD |
| Year-Round Low | $7,678 CAD |
| Year-Round High | $8,962 CAD |
| Average Price a Year Ago | $8,946 CAD |
| Change vs. Last Year | −7.81% |
Prices have softened 7.81% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.
There are 90 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of inventory to compare before you buy.
Is the 2015 Kia Forte a good car?
Yes — the 5/5 user rating suggests strong owner satisfaction for this model year. That kind of feedback can be a useful sign if you want a used car that has pleased previous owners. With 20.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.
Is the 2015 Kia Forte reliable?
Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.
For used buyers, that kind of owner feedback can reduce some of the uncertainty around long-term ownership risk, especially if the specific car you’re considering has been maintained well.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Kia Forte?
This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so it makes sense to compare listings carefully rather than rush.
- Deal availability: 20.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 90 listings available.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 7.81% compared with last year.
If you find a listing below $7,678 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
What is the 2015 Kia Forte's resale value?
The current average of $8,247 CAD sits slightly below last year's $8,946 CAD.
That softer pricing can be a mixed signal for future resale: it may help you buy at a more attractive entry point today, but it also suggests the market has already adjusted downward. If you plan to sell later, your return will depend heavily on how well the car is maintained and how competitively it is priced when you list it. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
Should I buy a 2015 Kia Forte or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2015 if:
- 20.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 7.81% compared with last year.
- Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
The bottom line: The 2015 Kia Forte makes sense if you want a used compact car with solid owner satisfaction and a market that has become a bit more buyer-friendly. If your priority is stretching your budget, this year is worth a close look; if you want the best possible value, focus on listings near the lower end of the price range and compare them carefully against nearby model years.
