Used 2014 Mazda CX-5 for Sale nearWoodbridge, ON

How much does the 2014 Mazda CX-5 cost?

Prices have softened 8.51% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 103 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2014 Mazda CX-5 a good car?

Yes — the 4.6/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its smooth handling, fuel economy, and comfort, and many also like the performance and useful features such as the backup camera and safety sensors. For you, that makes it a sensible pick if you want a compact SUV with car-like road manners and everyday practicality. With 28.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2014 Mazda CX-5 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle that many drivers find dependable in day-to-day use, especially when it comes to comfort, fuel economy, and trouble-free ownership. At the same time, the model year’s mixed reliability reputation means you should pay close attention to maintenance history and any signs of wear before you buy. For used shoppers, that means the long-term ownership risk is manageable, but only if you choose carefully and inspect the vehicle thoroughly.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 Mazda CX-5?

This looks like a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting deep discounts on every listing.

• Deal availability: 28.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 103 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.51% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $10,358 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 Mazda CX-5's resale value?

The current average of $10,358 CAD sits slightly below last year's $11,322 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the CX-5 easier to buy now but may also limit upside for a future seller. If you own one and plan to sell later, the current trend means you should expect resale value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and service records. Well-kept examples should still attract interest, but the softer pricing environment means you may need to price competitively.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2014 Mazda CX-5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 28.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.51% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2014 if you want a used compact SUV with strong owner approval, a softer price point, and enough inventory to compare options. If you are especially price-sensitive, it is worth watching for the best-listed examples and prioritising vehicles with clear maintenance history and a careful inspection.
