The 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee stands out as part of the fourth-generation WK2 line, which brought a smoother on-road character and a more polished feel than earlier Grand Cherokees. It used a fully independent suspension, wore prettier styling inside and out, and offered more power than previous versions. Drivetrain updates included a new eight-speed automatic transmission, which improved efficiency, and the turbodiesel engine also helped in that regard. That same year also brought the upscale Summit trim, adding plenty of leather and creature comforts. The model’s broader strengths remained intact too: standard 4WD, available air suspension with up to 27 centimetres of ground clearance, and a reputation for serious towing and off-road ability.
There are trade-offs, though. The WK2’s fuel economy is described as only mediocre by midsize SUV standards, and early fourth-generation Grand Cherokees have a poor repair record overall. Even so, the 2014 model’s mix of comfort, technology, and capability makes it distinctive, especially for shoppers who want a used SUV that feels more premium than its price might suggest.

Its a great looking and driving vehicle. I wish they made the third row in this model. However I always feel like the center of attention when driving a jeep that has that sleek, classic, luxury feel and vibe but also can be rugged and tough, and able to run with boss hogs whether on a trail or the open road. Its great for travel and great for inclement weather. What other car does what the Jeep Grand Cherokee does then or now? Not a one. Because Jeep is a stand alone Grand type of ride!

It’s very spacious and very light at the wheel. As you drive the car it feels like you’re floating and at peace. In my opinion the car lacks nothing and that was my first time driving a jeep and I highly recommend!!!!

The summit is the luxury model and the trim is too notch with a 5.7 hemi to go along with it . The only issues would be the air suspension has problems so get a warranty.
