Driving this car is an ego-stroking shot of pure adrenalin! I feel like a kid again!Only thing I would possibly want to top it would be a triple BLACK 70 RT/SE, with gator grain top, 440 six pak ,leather seats and a factory electric moonroof. I had the opportunity to buy this exact car back in 79, I couldn't scrape together the "high" price of $1000!, wish I did, today as I understand the production figures, this combination of options made this a 1 of only 7 built!! I would now be a wealthy man!

Probably one of the best designs to come out of Detroit! Mine came with the 318, 904 Torqueflight and 2.71 gears in the rear. Engine and driveline is solid! The car was built for the highway! Averaged 20-21 MPG on the highway.

I enjoyed closing the driver's door from the inside because I'd get butterflys in my gut about the ride Im about to go on that night. I really beat the hell out of it. The highs were the 145MPH+ six-pak growl, enternal tire spin and never getting tired of looking at it(every angle). Lows brakes, handled like a old pickup truck & constant repairs(trannys, diffs etc..)I still love the look but not the drive.
