The power button is for pulling heavy loads. It makes the car run in higher RPMS. As for winter button, it makes your gas pedal less touchy so you dont spin out. Only works up to 20 MPH.

The power button lets your honda build up higher rpms befor it changes.and the winter button is for snow and it makes your honda take off in second gear so you dont have that power to make you lose traction. The winter button will disengage on its own when you get to twenty or thirty mph.
