when i put my 99 honda passport in drive,it barely moves when i give it gas. can you help?

i put the passport in drive, i have to give it gas and the rpm goes up like you have to
force it to make it move

it also may be that you need new catalytic converters mine did the same thing and thats what it was .

Check the throttle cable too mine had a gasket that melted and gummed up the whole assembly.
