Check your Brake Light Switch to be sure that it is energizing the shift lock solenoid that releases your shift lever out of PARK. You can do this by applying your brakes and verifying that the Brake Lights work normally. But I do believe there is a lock release mechanical and an electric sensor located next to the shift lever under the shift console (yes, you have to disassemble everything to get to it). The sensor is a small switch that is engaged when you apply a very small amount of pressure on the shifter as you push the button it. This sensor is connected to the breaks and engages the mechanical lock release when you have your foot on the brake.
