Ihave a 2002 Volkswagen passat 1.8t I just replaced a hose that was leaking oil upon replacement I am now having EPC issues my car tends to shut off at stop lights

My car ran fine prior to this all I wanted was
for my car to stop smoking now it shuts off
entirely this usually happens at stop lights
please please help me figure what this can
be
