2002 Cadillac Deville -won't start, or turnover

My 2002 Cadillac Deville would not start.   I had a
friend to come give me a boost and all it would do
was click but all the dash and interior lights would
come and door bells would ding.  So I took the
battery out and took it to auto zone and they
recharged it.  Brought it back home and hooked it
up and now nothing...no lights coming or anything,
will not do anything even when I turn the key and
that's even with the booster cables hooked took
the battery as well....nothing. ..unlike before at
least all the interior lights, etc....came on and it
clicked....now it will do anything...please help
me....thank you..
