Great vehicle for a younger person. Auto 6 CD changer plays hours of uninterrupted tunes. Automatic transmission with manual (stick) is fun to drive and makes hills or passing a breeze. Just wish it was quieter, too much road noise for an old person like me.Jan 29, 2015

I like the look and overall ride of this vehicle, but Chrysler dropped the ball on putting defective Front Suspension and Cross members in this vehicle. NO Recall on the defective Suspension. Luckily I had Extended Warranty that covered complete replacement ! (only 40,000 miles) Just got a front Crossmember replaced under "Service Bulletin" status, that I found out from my Non Dealer Mechanic. Completely rusted out at 65,000 miles, 7 years. Don't buy a 2007 Compass, way to many Bugs that were not worked out, or admitted to by Chrysler.Nov 16, 2014

Beautiful Family Car. Great for the city and the outdoors. Driving a Jeep is always a great experience. Lots of cargo space and it can take a lot of weight on the ceiling. This car will never let you down.May 21, 2014

The Jeep Compass is an American made min SUV; I like it because it not too big and it looks great. I do like the way it feels on the highway. Gives me pretty good gas mileage and is on the low side of spending money on working on it. Easy to change the oil and keep it in good work order. The seats are comfortable and the front seats are easy to position to view the road well. Over all the looks are what got me to buy it.May 05, 2013

I love my car but my family is growing and I need somthing bigger. This has without a doubt been the best vehicle I have ever owned !! If anyone is looking for an economical vehicle the compass is safe and a reliable car. It was the best decision I have made thus far vehicle wise!!Aug 14, 2011

I enjoy the ride and comfort and the acceleration is better than one would think of a 4 banger. Its sounds and has no extra cost to operate other than gas oil. Fun to drive and just put new tires on at 50K. Keep up the good work Jeep !Mar 01, 2010

Love my Compass 4X4! Handles the snow here in Wisconsin like a dream, the whole reason I purchased it.

Build Quality - The door rattles because the automatic
windows were added after the car was made
Appearance - It's a hot car, I love it

My new Jeep is so cute...it just seems to look happy. CVT lags sometimes, but I like being able to manually control the ratios to get it to jump. Not enjoying the fact that I slip out on wet surfaces. Not even sure why this happens.Oct 13, 2009

Dependable. Very good fuel mileage for a vehicle that has AWD and 4WD. Very roomy and comfortable for a smaller vehicle. Handles and rides like a good car. Overall, can't beat 30+ mpg and the variable valve timing is awesome. Gives me what I need when I need it. Whether it's torque or rpm or fuel mileage. It's been bang on so far. Good handling with electronic stability program. Excellent factory stereo system. Good gas milage. Plenty of interior room, good head room, excellent leg room. Never had any problems in driving in rain or snow. All around a good vehicle at a reasonable price.Dec 27, 2008

This is the 2009 Jeep Compass Rallye Edition i'm driving now. The Rallye package just came out this year - 18" Black Aluminum Wheels, Chrome Exhaust, Body Kit and Rallye Fog Lights mounted on the top of the bumper.
It also has a moonroof, and the upgraded 9 Speaker Boston Acoustic System.

Some people would call this a girly jeep, because it is. Not really meant for off-roading, does not have a high enough clearance. Great for commuting, excellent mileage. Lacks in power, you're not going to beat many people off the line with this car.Feb 10, 2008

Too many people give this car a hard time. It's the first Jeep that is not Trail-Rated. I think more people need to be accepting to Jeeps new push towards a new market. I love the car, gets much better gas mileage. I would like to see an SRT version or something to give it a little kick. Dec 24, 2007
