2020 GMC Sierra 1500 Reviews, Pricing & Specs
What owners say
"Overall, owners of the 2020 GMC Sierra 1500 are quite satisfied with their trucks, praising features like the spacious interior, advanced technology, and strong performance. Many appreciated the smooth ride, value, and various options available. However, some drivers reported issues with engine performance, particularly oil burning and recalls, which have caused frustration. The interior design and features received mixed reviews, with some feeling it could be improved."
Great truck, great value, awesome vehicle accessories package. Highly recommend this truck.
November 23, 2024Body dented and scratches, former work truck , transmission shutter , definitely abused, four wheel clunks when engaged , not a good value
June 30, 2025Absolutely stunning vehicle. Pure luxury pick-up truck. Serious power, w/a 6.2L V8 engine; smooth, wonderful ride, lots of driver convenience & safety features; comfortable seating, roomy cab interior....I could go on. GMC has left nothing out of their Sierra Denali line. Beautiful truck - everyone Ive talked to feels the same. Commanding presence on the road. Tops Dodge Ram & Ford models, in my opinion. I have a 2020 model. The 2023 model tops even THAT!!!

August 7, 2022Great design and tecnology. Spacious and smooth ride. Comfortable for passengers and driver. The Denali leaves nothing to be desired.
February 12, 2022Love it. Tons of cool features and technology, the color is beautiful, its very rugged, and very comfortable at the same time.
August 12, 2021I looked over a year specifically for this model had everything I wanted. It’s the mid line model but exactly what I was looking for. 5stars so far has just over 12000 miles and no problems. Great pulling power going up hill with the 8 speed trans w/ 5.3 engine. I wanted the cloth interior for easy cleaning too. 4 wheel drive w/ X31 package compares to trail boss from Chevy . For a 4X4 has smooth running on roads not a harsh ride, but yet does well off pavement going over rougher terrain. The value is what I expected from GMC.
July 13, 2021The 2020 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali has every feature you could possibly want and then some. One of the best features is the step tail gate, it really makes it easy to get into the bed of the truck.
November 23, 2020It has a significant amount of safety features and rides great. It is not missing anything I was looking for and compares favorably to other pickups.
November 3, 2020I love the 2020 Sierra AT4 w/ 6.2L V8 in Satin Steel Metallic. The interior is spacious and very sharp with the Kalahari accents. The pictures dont do it justice at all. The accents are saddle brown, not florescent orange as in the pics. All the options are great!! Be sure to get the Technology package witht the 15 heads-up display, the camera rearview mirror and the HD Vision Surround (15 cameras). I traded in an 2006 Sierra. With the wide hood and the 2 factory lift he driving experience is much different than I was used to but amazing all the same! If your a GMC fan and you love the Sierra, you will love the AT4.
November 1, 2020It’s a reliable truck great engine and just a great choice for pickup truck
