What owners say
"Overall, owners of the 2014 Ford Escape are quite satisfied with their purchase, praising its impressive features, comfort, and handling. Many enjoyed the spaciousness and agility of the vehicle, along with its fuel economy. On the downside, some drivers faced issues related to rust, infotainment troubles, and mechanical concerns about certain engine models. The comfort during long trips was also a point of critique for a few."
Great looking vehicle. Runs great and the features are a plus! This car is missing nothing.
May 9, 2021Loved my 2014, I was able to get 215,000 miles out of it before it was totalled. The best car I ever had.
July 11, 2023The Ford Escape Titanium pkg is what we got & were replacing the exact same model & trim that unfortunately was totalled on May 1st. We already loved the car & its features but I can tell you I know first hand it has wonderful safety features. Someone made an illegal left hand turn right in front of me & I could not stop in time. The vehicle literally saved my life & saved me from any serious bodily injury! I can honestly say I trust this vehicle with my life! Its just a great all around SUV. Enough room for me to sit comfortably behind the steerung wheel and I am not a small guy. Good fuel economy, handles great & all the toys that make life easier. Duel power heated front seats, back up camera, nice sound system, keyless remote with remote start & more. Just a great car!

May 22, 2023I actually purchased this vehicle. The titanium package puts it over the top. But, under the bells and whistles, is a solid package mechanically that handles well and is fun to drive. This small SUV is nimble with responsive steering and great road feel. The seats are firm and comfortable and give you the sense that youre sitting up high. The impression is that youre in a much larger vehicle yet there is still plenty of headroom. The slope of the windshield provides remarkable visibility. It will take some time to navigate all the aspects of the infotainment system, but theres no rush as I plan to keep this car a long time.
January 25, 2021The titanium’ was fully loaded. Impressive. Lots of room in the back seats and comfortable for young and old alike
September 27, 2020We have owned this for awhile now and done a lot of traveling the only bad at this point for me as a passenger is on longer trips the front seat gets a bit uncomfortable for me, now that maybe because of some of my health issues. Got this vehicle 8 months ago but as of today we really like the response and handling of this 2014 Escape Titanium model ,with a 2.0 Eco-boost engine and the gas mileage so far is averaging for us 27.8 MPG in the city, have to say that so far highway driving mileage is 28.8 at bottom end and 30.7 at top end, of course a lot of that depends on the habits of the driver so that can always vary. We were not looking for all the extra things in the Titanium package but with the driveability and handling of this particular vehicle we could not pass it up, we got it at a great price too. My wife can not stop smiling when she is in this SUV. We also drove a Titanium with a 1.6 Eco-boost and the 2.5L, My recommendation is go with the 2.0 Eco-boost, it is way more responsive then the 1.6 Eco-boost and the 2.5L engines. You want to have a great ride try a Escape like this one or even the SL, you will be impressed, even if you are fan of other manufacturer. We prefer the 2.0L eco-boost if you want even better MPG the 1.6 L will do that but as I stated the 2.0 has the best power of all engines available in the Escape.
April 2, 2015This vehicle was fairly priced and good value with low kilometers.
September 6, 2023The panoramic sunroof is amazing. I love the navigation, the remote start, the Ecoboost and the responsiveness, the 4wd, and the roominess, I believe it was a very good deal for the features that were a part of this car. The only thing that is missing is the auto stop.
August 14, 2022great features and not too many to distract you from driving.
June 24, 2020Escape are dependable cars. Best to stay away from 1.6 engine as they are not great.
