Great value, love the design and handling of the car. Interior is well thought-out with many upgrades. Engine provides plenty of horse power and the six speed transmission is smooth. Feb 01, 2022

There really are no other models to compare it to. A Corvette is in a league by itself. The car i got is fully loaded, and has everything you could want for the era. Its an excellent value for what you get in the car-performance, handling, luxury, fuel mileage, etc. Oct 26, 2020

No negatives if this is the type of vehicle you desire. Have gotten 27 MPG on trips. Very reliable & super responsive. No other auto of mine has ever handled this well! Premium fuel is recommended, but it will perform well on any grade (most important if you've ever bought fuel in Canada or outside USA). Mar 05, 2015

The power is great, could not believe how it all just comes together when you drive it. This car runs with the $100,000 ZR1 at a fraction of the price. Would be a great car to show at car shows once you made it yours.Jan 15, 2015

Not much to dislike. This car is amazing and is one of the best overall sports cars you can buy for under 30k. It gets great gas mileage and turns plenty of heads and performs great at the track. I will miss this car but the one I bought is just like it.Dec 28, 2014

Driving this car is an experience like none other. It has the aggressive stance and beautiful lines, yet it allows the driver to choose whether to compete at the track or just leisurely cruise on sunny days. This car handles both scenarios with ease. The acceleration is exhilarating. And even with the level of power you get with this car you can also get great (26 mpg) gas mileage!May 13, 2014

This Z51 has great power, all the luxury features of a cadillac, very fun to drive on long road trips (such as Vegas), defintely a head-turner at car shows, but repairs can sometimes be costly and taxing on the owner.Feb 20, 2014

I've owned this car since it was brand new in 2005 and I still love it. It drives great - handles well, lots of power, and it's very comfortable. The braking is exceptional. The seats are fully adjustable and "hug" you, making you feel secure. Great sound system.Feb 19, 2014

Performance and handling are superb. It is well equiped to get out of its own way. Climate controls are easy to use for both the passenger and driver. Power everything...from seats to mirrors(darken at night..no more blinding lights from behind) to windows to doors( touch pad on outside, button on inside)Jun 20, 2012

I love the looks, power and handle, I dislike the fact that it is not as comfortable as other larger cars, but it is a sports car after all. It looks much newer than a 2005 model. BEAUTIFUL COLOR. NICEApr 22, 2012

has a great amount of power, (445hp). great handling, you point it where you want it to go and there is little to no body roll, its the perfect afordable supercar, interior is great, leather everywhere, heated seats, its been perfect for the 9 months ive had it so far, very stunning car!!, it gets 25mph average and 30 on highway, as cheap as any car to maintinance. its very fun to drive, anybody need to drive one at least once in there life!! Fun to drive and look at. Plenty of power, and it handles great. Smooth ride with a pleasant interior. It actually gets really great gas mileage for a 400hp car. I've seen 28mpg on highway trips, and 22mpg in the city.May 14, 2011

Great sports car for the money. Fun to drive and it gets very good gas mileage if you go easy on the acceleration. No need to break on corners because it will go where you point it. The HUD is a big plus and highly recommended. You know exactly how fast you are going at all times. Dec 29, 2010

Awesome car to drive, it goes from 0-100 km/h in 4.2 sec, top speed of 300 km/h and take corners at high speeds.
It has a 6L V8 engine with +450HP after a few modification's. Looks great, sound awesome and is just lots of fun to drive unless roads are wet because then it is not possible to get enough traction.Nov 14, 2008

This is my 6th car and it is by far the best car I have ever owned. I have owned everything from sedans to turbo 4cyls and there is nothing better than an all motor V8 making 450whp! I wouldnt trade this car for anything, well maybe a Noble M400 ;)Sep 08, 2008

Sleek design and awesome performance. 1/4 mile time 12.7 seconds and 0 to 60mph in 4.4 seconds. With 405 hp, 400lb/ft of torque and 19/29 mpg...not a lot of cars under 100k can out run it. For a V8 6.0 liter, 29 mpg on the freeway is incredible. The Lexus GS400 hybrid only gets 25mpg on the freeway...how odd is that?! For a car around 50k that's in the same league as Porsche and Ferrari's...its one of the best bang for your bucks in terms of performance.Sep 01, 2008

I love it! Great chassis, amazing engine, great ergonomics, good stereo; I couldn't be more pleased with such a car.
25 additional thousand dollars in well spent mods' and you have a very able car. One that mixes it up with many of the worlds top Supercars. From a racing standpoint it's as simple as that.

I loved driving the car the fit and finish is perfect. I do
have a few complaints about the car though. The Cost
of maintenance is too high. Things were constantly
breaking and they are not cheep to replace. My only
other performance complaint is the clutch. It was
spongy and very inconsistant. I ended up selling it
because of all the problems I was having on it but I
think that it is safe to say that I would love to own
another one. I would just never buy another used one.Jul 20, 2008

The truck you see behind me and the Corvette is the one that brought to this truly wonderful day 5 supercars. First, let's start with Miss Kentucky, the Vette.
This C6 had 404hp (440 for the 2008 model) and a 6-speed manual gearbox that was quite manly, but it was manageable, so I actually liked it ... just like the whole car, to be honnest from the beginning.
It looks superb, the V8 sounds great, and on the track, it was able to follow the Ferrari and the Lamborghini, leaving the Aston and the Porsche in its dust! Not bad for a $US 50,000 car!
On the road, French and bumpy roads should I add, everything was perfect ... till we went over the speed limit (there was a Toyota LandCruiser in front of us to check that the police wasn't here).
Then, the magnetic suspensions didn't seem to bother anymore of confort and I found myself a couple of times driving like an Englishman, on the wrong side of the road!
Apart from that, it was fantastic! I loved the Targa roof, easy to store in the trunk, I loved the Heads-up Display, like on a fighter jet, and I loved the performance.
We were not nice with these cars, but the Corvette just didn't mind. The brakes were red, a little bit damaged, but it kept on braking and braking, as good as the others (well, much better than the V8 Vantage, that's for sure)!
The only other drawback is the stability control (ESP for Bosch, Active Handling for GM) ... it worked on the road... thank God! But DO NOT, DO NOT turn it off!
If you want to avoid crashing at least, because somehow, without this electronic aid, the back feels twitchy at the limit, and no matter how hard I like to train, I'm not a professional racing driver, so I spun, again and again!
When you do slide, it's wonderful, but on the road, especially on a slippery one, just let the ESP on!
Anyway, great car and really well priced! Jan 15, 2008

With just "Bolt-Ons*", the car went from very fast to wickedly fast. The exhaust and engine noise is overwhelming sometimes. Interior is very comfortable for this kind of car. The navigation and on board display is too complicated to use at first, but after almost 3 years of ownership I think I finally figured it out. Steering feedback is good, but could be better. Brakes are fine for street and minor track use, but they do start to fade after heavy track usage. The only real dislike for this car: must shift to reverse inorder to shut off, otherwise the car's electrical system will not shut down completely = dead battery.
