My first car and love it, I have the base model, so no power locks, windows, mirrors, abs or cruise control. But, being a 5 spd manual transmission makes it so fun to drive. Keep basic maintenance and it will last long. But make sure to maintain the car paint with polish and wax and proper wash, since I only did you basic $4-5 dollar auto car wash, my cars clear coat is peeling away.Nov 14, 2021

If you want a good car for basic transportation with low maintenance and operation costs, this is the answer. Good room inside and decent performance. Good mileage. Fun to drive. The car will keep on going if you do routine maintenance. Cloth interior held up extremely well. All wheels held alignment and the car was easy on tires. As far as I can tell, this thing sucks compared to my 00 Corolla LE. But, it is definitely a solid sub 5K economy car. It is also definitely no more than a solid sub 5K economy car. I can wait to not have to drive it anymore!Jan 25, 2009
