ESi Eagle Talon, not bad on fuel, would be better if turboed. Price I paid was 1200 and it has a problem with burning oil. Steering pump squeels when at the end of the turning radius. Has a cold air intake and everything else is stock except the radio. ManualMay 08, 2013

I love everything about this car. I've had it since it 1997 with only 4,000 miles on it, now it has 50,000. It's only needed minimal, expected maintenance besides replacing a leaky clutch master cylinder. It's heavily modified with a larger turbo, down pipe, intercooler pipes, intake and too many other things to list. It's been a great car for me!Jan 28, 2012

for a heavy sport car this older turbo talon is one of the ancestors to newer and power leading vehicles today. tho the fasted modified 4 cylender in the word is the motor from this car. it was tuned and thrown into production with great promise. the modle didn't last but the poopularity still roams, and this car has proven to be of great potential. This car handles great, it needs some repairs, some spots on the body need touching up. The mileage is nice and low. Definitely a fun car to drive. Didn't cost me as much as i thought it would. Great car.Mar 23, 2011

I assume this car would be a ton better had the previous owner not completely destroyed it structurally. Rust is every car's worst enemy. Dont get me wrong its fast and fun as hell to drive, but i'm forced to baby it cuz of its pre existing conditions. Gas mileage is good. I loved the the acceleration, when i put my foot it used to just shoot off and that was it, it was gone. i built it up nicely as you can see from my pictures. this car was a very fun car to drive in, i would recomend it to you.Aug 11, 2010

The size of the interior of the car is to small especially if you are a tall person and try to hav anyone set in the back seat. The Performance is great for a 4 cyl. The Appearance is well but it does have a bubble butt to the car. cost of ownership is not to back but you do have to be carfull due to eagle talon's are the same as a mitsubishi eclipse so parts will interchange. Excellent acceleration and power, but who ever owned it before me didn't know how to take car of it. Love the turbo. very nice handling, acceleration out of corners is phenomenal. And I don't care how many words they're hoping for.Oct 20, 2009

The turbo made it hard to do any engine work, but overall a GREAT car! Lots of style. Very fast off the line. Turned lots of heads. Cherry red with a black top. Beautiful car! The maintenance costs were a little bit high. Would recommend the car to a friend. Sep 09, 2008

Yes, its a 12 yr old car, and has had its share of repairs, but it is cheap to fix yourself, and has insane amounts of power! With good wheels and tires, this car hugs corners and has great acceleration. Even being a sports car, this car gets about 25mpg!!Sep 03, 2008

comfortable and race inspired
i get about 9 mpgs and needs constant maintenance
this car is very fun to drive not for the faint of heart

Way better than the Saturn. A few more problems with this one than the Saturn. Much faster and a lot of fun to drive. Needs some repairs from it being hit and broken into. But I love this car! I would only recommend this car to someone if you like working on cars or know a little something about them, as it does require a little bit more extra maintenance and attention as compared to other cars. I purchased this car in January 2008 with just over 110,000 miles on it. Has a rebuilt engine, 3in. exhaust, turbo timer, boost and A/F gauge, and a K&N Intake.Jul 16, 2008

Unfortunatley, this was a used (and abused) car when I received it. I added a new sound system, but never figured out how to remove the strange smell. The accelleration and AWD capabilities were good, but did not handle as well as my WRX. The random shock treatment I received on my left thigh from time to time was interesting...Mar 30, 2008

1996 Eagle Talon TSI, factory automatic was converted to a 5spd. Many bolt on parts, if you dont know whats done to it, you either haven't helped me work on it, or you dont need to know.Feb 21, 2008

I've owned this beast for over 2 years. If I could go back to the day I bought it. I would have slaped my self in the face for doing so. However since I cannot travel back in time, I am stuck with it. I would not recommend this car to you, if you are not mechanically inclined. Then again, I would not own anything else.
