My lil banger car has 192,000 miles on it and still keeps going and going..lol all original equip.. EXCELLENT gas mileage still after all these years.. went from Oklahoma city to Snowflake Arizona on 27 dollars worth of gas..Yeah it has squeaks and noises wont you also have that if you were this old ??? Havent had to replace or reapir ANY major parts (knocks on wood) last brake job was 6 years ago..the secret i think is.. change your oil alot..lol
Is it fun? You betcha..cause it costs me close to NOTHING to maintain..and has never let me down.. those lil 12 inch tires are starting to get hard to find though..Oct 19, 2010

I like my festiva mostly for it's practicallity (except only 2 door) and it's efficiency, but I have to commend it's history- having had no work done to it in 13 years! Has only ever required one battery change and a few replacement bulbs.
Although the car is actully built by Kia Motor Company (despite being badged Ford) the build quality is surprisingly high - with nothing breaking and the paint, exteriour plastics and dash standing up to the W.A sun really well!
Although performance is small with a 1.3 litre engine I can't complain about the fuel consumption getting over 300km (around town) to the 30 litre tank and about 550km when going to Perth.

This makes my 2nd Festiva, both 93's.
Fun runs runs runs. Always starts in cold winter.
Plenty of room. I'm 6'2" tall. Plenty of room.
Worn out 4 sets of tires on two cars.
Burns hardly no oil in over 200,000 miles.
Went around corner and heard a faint pop, now, no forward or reverse.
Trying to get help Have transmission and clutch but not going forward or reverse.
