This is a great car. Many people put the little Festiva down because the size, but thing about it the way prices are going up on gas what a possession to have. Sure its not an SUV. We owned one for more than 10 year. It went thru snow storms like nothing when some other big vehicles were stuck in the snow. We sold it in Ohio. And the man who bought it still going around in his 269,000 miles Festiva. Give the little fellow a Big STAR. I would like to find a four door one. I know they still around. Again a GREAT Car.Dec 29, 2021

Some people say older vehicles like this from the 80's and 90's were "throw away" cars.. but the community of festiva owners would happily disagree. The amount of money you put back into your pocket by driving a festiva is impressive. You get good mpg at a fraction of the cost of a new vehicle. I've used mine for commuting, hauling, moving and on long trips. That is just one of many pro's to these little gems.Jan 17, 2015

I like the mileage the best. The interesting looks I get from people when I drive this car is a hoot as well! It has surprising power for a 1.3 motor....but being only 1700 pounds helps that a bit. I am having a hard time finding parts. Fortunately, I am studying to be a machinist, and have had to make a couple parts for this car. Jun 18, 2014

Hardly any heat, no AC, no CD or even tape player, slow, uncomfortable, ugly, etc...
But it gets me to work and back every time for next to nothing, 39mpg last tank!
Got it for free, and spend $400 total (other than gas) on it so far. Been driving it for years, I've never loved
and hated something so much at the same time.
It was featured as the "crappy" car in a Vehix.com comercial.Jun 22, 2008

Install an Escort GT motor, bigger brakes and wheels, and KYB struts on all all four corners, and this little car will surprise a lot of people... factory its a little slow on acceleration and handling is sluggish, but these have a lot of potential.Jun 09, 2008

grandeur ... oups !Jun 04, 2008
