I just love the speed and handling she has. I love the fact that it is very easy to work on when the time comes. My last one I had 165K miles on it when I sold it. The day I sold it she still ran awesome! Also had the original clutch believe it or not. I think the only thing in the engine bay I had to replace was the radiator and water pump. very nice i bought in 2005 had to put new brakes on it but that's it . before i bought it it had been sitting a while in someones front yard good car never left me on the side of the road.Jan 22, 2013

Performance: Acceleration and handling were great. Brakes could be better.
Build Quality: Owned the car for 45,000 miles, no major repairs.
Appearance: I really loved it.
Cost of Ownership: Tires were not cheap, but that was mostly my fault, not the cars..lol Gas mileage was very good for that type of car.

just a beautiful sleeper modern day american muscle car. clean lines, big time torque and power. beautiful, foolish driving inducing exhaust and engine note. rally great fun and a blast to drive. reliable, durable mechanical parts. the power you feel instinaniously as soon as your right foot touches the accelarater.Feb 16, 2012

This car was bought new by my wife's brother. He gave it to our daughter in 2003. She used it until 2009 when she gave it to her younger brother who is now the primary driver. I don't drive it or ride in it too often, it is hard on my old body. It has had one repaint in the original color, one new top, & the cloth interior has been redone in black leather. The drivetrain has only had routine maintanence. It currently has 130000 miles. The steering rack is starting to get some play in it & the valve cover gaskets are leaking. Overall has been a very good car.

This car has run great. Only rated at 91 hp and 130 lb-ft of torque stock,
but it gets up and goes. Tons of cargo room, was able to fit an entire
bookcase and coatrack with the backseats down. Interior is nice, clean,
and the car is very easy to drive and the brakes are amazing. Good gas
mileage, and it looks nice, as soon as I do what I want to with it, it will
look and pretty much be a legit Mustang. Even with it being 20 years old,
it has no problems at all and I would recommend this as a point a to point

I've owned this car since 1998. It's got the 2:79 gears, so it could use better gears, and it's showing it's age. The paint is fading, a few small things have broken, but overall it's a reliable car with lots of power and a nice sound.Dec 09, 2011

Vortech supercharged, msd ignition, flowmaster , B&M short throw shifter, in
awsome condidton , my interior is gray and black no cracks or rattles im getting 25
mpg. this car is super fun to drive and only going to get better after i change my

You cannot beat a foxbody mustang. They are inexpensive, reliable, have excellent performance and a great look. Even fuel economy is exceptional. Cornering and handling are tremendous. This car is a blast to drive. Lots of power and torque. 25-27mpg on the highway with an automatic!!! Never left me stranded anywhere. Great sound and power and an excellent street presence. I like this car a lot the reason i bought it is cause it is the same model as my first car not the fastest on the road but its not the slowest either alot of people will recognize this car because it is the first car to ever make it to classic status before the twenty year term had finished all in all i would say it is a great carOct 25, 2010

Stock? Not at all! I polished a turd really well. MY version of
the Fox platform is sitting on all new suspension with extra
chassis stiffening. The engine is not stock, but is probably
around the stock power level of the 5.0L. All out of a 2.3L 4
banger.
This car handles like it is on rails, and it's my favorite all around

very fast and will stop quick but good luck taking a corner fast. you'll hear tires rub and exhaust grind but when you build it to go straight thats what you get. but you don't even want to know what it costs to fix things when they break but its a blast to driveOct 23, 2009

i love my car, just about everything about it, despite how leaky it can be. best car I've owned. Can require frequent repairs, but parts are easily had at low prices. My car is manual, and i always believe mustangs to have the best feeling clutches and shifters, if properly maintained. they also respond very well to modification.Sep 25, 2009

I love driving this car the performance is awesome, great acceleration from the supercharged 5.0. The body and interior are still in great condition for being 19 yrs old. Awesome acceleration with the bottle, decent braking and above par handling. Needed plenty of body work, rust issues and paint issues. Decent drivetrain, AOD transmission grabs real hard after a build. 10 on a 1-10 fun factor scale. Real quick.Aug 28, 2009

fast, good wheelies, unstable downtrack. best 60 foot time 1.289. best mile per hour 152, hoping for an 8.80 second pass soon. 27 lbs of boost to 320 small block ford on 10.5 tires. fully street legal with insurance. fully built by myself from top to bottom, full original interior with cage.

My mom has had the 1991 LX V8 5.0 Mustang since they first came out and one year before I was born. This car is amazing, it's fast (faster then what one might think) and is all original! This stock driven car has beaten many turbo powered cars over the years and has been over 200 mph. I love this car and am proud to say I own it too!Aug 16, 2009

I love this car. Fast car great acceleration. Braking could be better. I got it used and very worn out It's getting better as time goes. Exterior is great even after paint job. Interior is clean. Cost of ownership isn't much it takes about 20MPG which isn't bad for a V8. This car is great to drive nothing like stepping on the gas and feeling the power of the 5.0.May 18, 2009

it is an all toghther great car. the quality is amasing for a 1 month build. it is not a stock car whatsoever, it is a carborated 302 with '69 model 351 heads. i would recomend this car to anyone who loves a speeding ticket, but thats only if you get caught.Dec 07, 2008

Great, hasn't needed any major repairs.
Appearance
Interior-Cloth, I like it more than leather.
Exterior-Small rust spots. Not really noticeable, but I'd like to fix them.

The worst thing about it is the insurance.

The four banger is too slow! That being said everything else about the car is fantasic. Handling is amazing, and overall the car has been real good to me maintaince wise. the 2.3 is a bullet proof engine and the AOD tranny behind it will hold up to the engine's 100 horse.Oct 25, 2008

1991 5.0L lx coupe mustang. Car is bone stock other then the 3.73:1 rear and the asthetics that ive changed. Got a lot of money into it just to keep it on the road. Car is a blast to drive. It is actually reasonable when it comes to gas milage!Sep 25, 2008

Great first car. Had a 2.3L 4cyl engine that was great for being 16 and great on gas. $10 would fill the car up for two weeks. I put about 20,000 miles per year on the car when i had it and only had to do regular repairs. A little small on the interior side of things, but good overall vehicle. My mustang was gorgeous until a Toyota Camry Swerved into me going opposite directions. It ran 13's in the quarter, stock with a cold air intake and stage two chip with shift kit. Flow master steel series exhaust dumped before the axle....It sounded fierce. It was black with chrome rims. No rust, flordia car...

Kind of an ugly mustang styling, but this is from a guy who still loves the 68-73 years of Mustang Muscle. A nice little car with enough power to go Rice Burner Stomping at night and still drive during the day. a good car, but certainly not a luxury vehicle. some parts are made very cheap on it and wear out easily. other than that this was a good solid vehicle.Jul 08, 2008

I personally like the fox body style alot. the interior isnt anything spectacular at all, but you usually don't buy a mustang for the interior style. its a solid car with good performance, especially for the money. it's pretty easy to pick up a gt in good condition for around 4 or 5grand.May 11, 2008

If you do a 5 lug swap and Cobra brake upgrades, add some suspension
mods such as eibach springs and other junk... you'll have a 0-60 monster

Ive owned the car for a couple years now and at first I really liked it. The
motor is strong and can be upgraded easily for cheap and rebuilt cheaply
as well. The braking is horrible the steering wheel shakes when u hit the
brakes at high speeds. The handling is not great. Its a good quarter mile
car. The only other thing then the motor that i like is my all black interior.Dec 15, 2007
