I really like my landy, we bought it with a rebuild engine about 15 years ago so it had nothing on the clock, its the pick up version of the 110 and I'm not sure if that is the correct year. We generally use it as a work horse and it is so great, the steering is fantastic we fitted power steering when it was built and enjoy it.
Build Quality - The car is old so of course it has its problems but as long as we fix them as they happen they are few and far between except at the moment because it has to have the rear diff re furbished.
Appearance - Not so pretty its been re painted on one side and so looks a bit grim on the other but it overall looks better than the station wagon version of the same year which we also have.
Cost of Ownership - Very cheap really, it does loads on a tank and maintenance is only expensive if we cant find the parts in harare
Fun Factor - Can you get more fun than an old Landy? I mean why else are they called Randy Lovers!!!!Jun 29, 2010

It's a Landy - I need say no more !
A 1990 CSW with 750SAT tyres, dropped in a 200TDi engine ini place of the old 2.5Diesel Turbo and what an improvement !
Interior is tidy for it's age and the tyres on the oversize rims (picked up for a song on ebay) give it some awesome grip in very sticky situations.
It also tows like an elephant....Sep 30, 2008

Performance? it's a V8 so goes quickly [ for an old Landy ] but it takes quite a bit to stop it as the owner of a 3 series beamer found out when he cut in front of me on the motorway...
Appearance? come on it's an old army landy of course it looks great!?
Cost of ownership? did i say V8 :(
Fun Factor? the best!!Jul 23, 2008
