I liked the styling, and the fact that Mustang IIs are the redheaded step children of the Mustang family. It was given, free, to my brother around 1990. We shared it for a year or so, but it was old and tired then and needed more work than we wanted to do.Jan 28, 2012

Amazing car, mustang ii front ends were ahead of their time and the car has decent handling and is quite quick do to them weighing in at about 3000lbs, fun car to drive and to go cruising in. No matter what other people may think this is the last of the ponys to have the same attributes as the original mustang.Apr 26, 2011

After I am done with my planned resto-mod, my Mustang II should have about 380 HP and 380 Ft-lb of torque. It will be costly for gas, but I think the fun of driving the car will out weight the costs.Mar 23, 2010

I love this little car, she's a Ford so you know she was built well. The engine still runs great, she's not bad on gas. She's a small car but the interior is quite roomy. She's a car that's very easy to drive, everything is basic. She's easy to work on and you gotta love the color! The body is nearly perfect, really no rust at all! It's neat because no one really owns these cars anymore so you get alot of looks when driving.Sep 05, 2009

I plan to make my car look gorgeous. I am going to paint it a metallic fusia over a metellic blue Tri-coat. The previous of whom I was very close to, owner is dead and she loved the color purple.Jul 26, 2009

Rebuilt the 302 and had a 4sp trans. I bought this from a friend of mine. Fun little car even though most don't consider it a mustang. The value is starting to climb on these. If I were to get another one it would be the cobra model.Feb 02, 2009

OK, well definitely the best first car anyone could ask for, and I plan on keeping it only because it's frikken amazing.
It's great on gas, and eventually I will be getting the rear window louvers, rear spoiler, and I already own the chin spoiler, just gotta put it on. ;)Nov 30, 2008

302 stock is only 130 hp. Plan to upgrade that. Great interior, nice dash board set up, looks like a pinto on steriods. Got a great deal at an auction, only paid $400 for the car, no rust, decent shape, runs excellent. Just needed a fuel pump since it had been parked since 1992.Oct 02, 2008

This was the worst buy i've made in my life. The car ran like crap, looked that way too and was the most unreliable thing i've ever owned. It pretty much killed Ford to me for a while. Though i somehow managed to auction it off and make some money out of it.Aug 15, 2008

They run great, the emission controls sucks. The are build solid. This car hardly had any rust. It got great gas mileage out of the 2.8 liter (17 in town, 21 on the highway), they are not the easiest to find parts for. The best part about the car is the feel and drive. There is almost any road noise and it rides incredibly comfortable. They are pretty peppy, but geared for the highway.

The V8 engine gives the acceleration a considerable boost. The body is in great shape with t-tops. The rims are aluminum and the paint job is custom. (I can't give it a good review cause I don't know what all is in it...)Jan 04, 2008
