Parts for the engine are very hard to find, have to get them from Germany. Long wait to get them and cost is high. All the body parts are available state side. Trans parts a now available state side also. Jun 25, 2012

I found this Mustang II several years ago. It was sitting in someones garage since sometime in 1979. It has 40k original miles indicated on the odometer. The engine failed early and no one decided to repair it. I have just started to repair the vehicle to bring it back to life. How often do you find a unrestored car with plates and tags on it that expired 30 years ago!Jul 02, 2010

Everything on the mustang is down sized. The point was to make it more fuel efficient. The 140 CID has only 88 horsepower and 80 ft/lb torque. The downsized body, in my opinion is a good thing. Lighter, and easy to handle. THe interior is a bit cramped in the back, but the front is spectacular. With a nice paint job and nice rims, the car is a show stopper.Nov 13, 2009

I also own a 74 Mustang II Hatchback. My first car. It's a 4 cylinder, so it's great on gas. Lots of space, and hatchback is really convenient for transporting large items. Was going to sell it, but it's been hard to part with! Nov 22, 2007
