Was a great car except for some minor rust. A few radiator problems because I couldn't find a replacement. Wish it was ready to run again, what fun we had crusing around in this. Could still catch 2nd even though automatic tranny.

Although it is very hard to find parts for this car anymore, it is very fun to drive.
Performance is great, it does 11.7 sec. on a quarter mile strip, and that is WITH
nos, without is about 14.3 sec.Nov 06, 2011

It was a good first car. Looked good, sounded good, and was semi fast. Perfect for a teenager. Only got maybe 13mpg out of it and had its rattles but it was a great car. I do miss it. By now it would be sub 10s(wishful thinking).Jan 11, 2011

My second car. Bad to the frame! Ford should have thought
this one out a little more. Had tranny trouble, electrical
issues, heater issues. Not at all reliable, bad starter in the
winter. It was yellow, not a bad looking car. Okay on gas
mileage, had the 4, should have gotten the 6 cylinder.Feb 27, 2010

My first car. Black and gold automatic with a 302. Modified the motor to run low 13's in the quater mile. Was asked if it was a front wheel drive Pinto. I said yes and then proceeded to dust the Chevy that asked.Aug 23, 2009

I bought the car for $500 when I was 16. The car was in mint condition. I wish I still had it because it was the best car that I have ever owned!!! The outside was gray and the interior was red. The motor had no leaks and purred like a kitten. The performance of this car was outstanding I could take corners on a gravel road at 60 mph without having a single issue. I could fill it up with gas on Monday for instance and run a week on it. One day my mom took it and was putting gas in it and a guy come up and asked if she would sell him the car. She said no it wasn't her to sell. He asked to see me and so I drove back down there. The man offered me $200,000 as it sat. He said he had been looking for a car like it and what I paid for it originally I got the car for a steal. I never did sell it to him. Nov 20, 2008

The engine has torque like u wouldn't believe because is has continuous tire spin though 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gear. Keep in mind the car is only a 4 speed manual. The cost of ownership is very low. Yes the car is fun to drive because the exhaust has a very unique sound two the car.Jul 17, 2008

you'll never find a Cobra 2 quite like this one. Rose from the ashes
without an engine and transmission but now it has a 1988 Police
Interceptor 302 with a C6 transmission... don't try and out burn me cuz
I will winMar 12, 2008
