The fact that it's a convertible (w/soft top) Bronco is cool enough - add to that fact that the entire exterior was RHINO LINED made it look a bit like an extra of a Mad Max movie. This was unique in that it had a 3 speed column shift manual connected to a V8 - not fast yet drove with an athletic vigor ... very neat, not sure I'd do it again since it's a bit too much of an argicultural appliance to properly shuttle the brood but never say never

1974 Bronco Explorer. Body off restoration. 351W Stroked and Bored to 427 CI. World Products Windosar SR. Heads Weiand Stealth Intake and Holley 750. Federwell Headers and Hooker Glass packs. All hooked to a C-6 Trans and Dana 20 T-Case. T-cas send power to a Corp 14 Bolt with a Gov Lock and a Dana 44 with a Torsen Gleason Limited slip. Tires are 36x16.5x16.5 Dick Cepek Fun Country's on 16.5x12 Mickey Thompson Clasic Wheels. Suspension is a Rancho 3.5" Jul 27, 2008

Heavily modified: 1991 SEFI 5.0, 2 inch body lift, 4 inch suspension lift, 33 inch Good Year MTR, Wild Horses PreRunner bumpers, 23 gallon tank, Roll cage, bucket seats, 7 degree bushings, 4.11 gears, Detroit lockers front and rear, disc brakes, 35 spline axles, and more.
Planned for future: NV4500 5 spd, Atlas transfer case, rear discs, new motor, steering system, body and frame restoration.May 06, 2008
