Should I buy a 2023 Lexus NX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 30.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.35% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $42,109 CAD, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $44,162 CAD average.
• The redesign gives it a more modern, dynamic, and tech-focused character.

The bottom line: Choose the 2023 if you want the stronger current-market context, broad powertrain choice, and a well-liked luxury crossover with solid value stability. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2022 is the better secondary path because it delivers the redesigned NX experience at a lower average price.
