What Mercedes-Benz S-Class do most buyers choose?

The Mercedes-Benz S-Class years with the most listings are 2018, 2017, and 2016.

These higher-volume years tend to attract more shoppers because they offer a wider selection and more price points to compare. That usually makes it easier to find a configuration that fits your budget and feature priorities.

What is the Mercedes-Benz S-Class's resale value?

Most model years in the table are down year over year, which creates more attractive entry points for used buyers. The largest drops are concentrated in older and mid-cycle years, while the newest models show smaller declines. That pattern suggests the S-Class continues to command strong pricing even as values soften across much of the lineup.

The 2024, 2017, and 2014 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
