What should I look for when buying a used Hyundai Palisade?

Key things to evaluate:

• Fuel efficiency: Most gas-only Palisade models have a Natural Resources Canada-estimated fuel economy of 12.2 litres per 100 kilometres in the city, 9.7 on the highway, and 11.1 combined. Choose the XRT Pro trim and those figures rise to 14.3 L/100 km city, 10.6 highway, and 12.7 combined. With the hybrid trim, fuel consumption is rated at 8.3 L/100 km city, 7.9 highway, and 8.1 combined.
• Infotainment: A second 12.3-inch colour touchscreen is mounted front and centre in the dashboard and serves as the infotainment system hub, with onboard navigation and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
• Safety package: The 2026 Palisade offers a comprehensive suite of driver-assist features, including blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, forward collision warning with car, pedestrian, and cyclist detection, automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist, lane following assist, driver attention monitoring, safe exit assist, and front and rear parking sensors.

Which Hyundai Palisade trim should I buy?

The 2026 Hyundai Palisade offers these trims:

• Preferred Trend: The base trim starts the lineup with the standard 3.5-litre V6, eight-speed automatic transmission, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, onboard navigation, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen.
• XRT Pro: This trim adds chunky all-terrain tires, 21.2 centimetres of ground clearance, improved approach and departure angles, a standard electronic limited-slip rear differential, recovery hooks front and rear, side parking sensors, reverse automatic braking, and a surround-view monitor camera system. It suits you if you want the most rugged version in the range.
• Luxury: This trim adds the hybrid powertrain, a surround-view monitor camera system, and the Bose audio system, making it the best-value choice if you want a richer equipment mix.
• Ultimate Calligraphy: This top trim adds the 12-inch colour head-up display, integrated front and rear dashcams, evasive steering assist, and Highway Driving Assist II with lane-change assistance.

What Hyundai Palisade do most buyers choose?

The Hyundai Palisade years with the most listings are 2025, 2024, and 2023.

These higher-volume years tend to be popular because they give you more inventory to compare, which can make it easier to find the right trim, colour, and price. They also tend to attract shoppers looking for a newer Palisade with a strong mix of features and value.

What is the Hyundai Palisade's resale value?

Most model years in the Palisade lineup have moved down in price over the past year, which can create better opportunities for used buyers. The declines are all double-digit, so there has been meaningful movement across the board rather than a small adjustment. The smallest changes are still sizeable, but they suggest some years have softened less than others.

The 2022, 2024, and 2023 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

How does the 2025 Hyundai Palisade compare to the 2025 Kia Telluride?

Our experts score the 2025 Hyundai Palisade 9/10 and the 2025 Kia Telluride 8.2/10.

The Palisade and Telluride share the same 3.8L V6 and similar overall size, so your choice comes down to value, pricing, and inventory.
