What should I look for when buying a used Hyundai Palisade?

Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: Blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, forward collision warning with car, pedestrian, and cyclist detection, automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist, lane following assist, driver attention monitoring, safe exit assist, and front and rear parking sensors.
• Infotainment: A second 12.3-inch colour touchscreen with onboard navigation, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto.
• Fuel efficiency: Most gas-only Palisade models have a Natural Resources Canada-estimated fuel economy of 12.2 litres per 100 kilometres in the city, 9.7 on the highway, and 11.1 combined. Choose the XRT Pro trim and those figures rise to 14.3 L/100 km city, 10.6 highway, and 12.7 combined. With the hybrid trim, fuel consumption is rated at 8.3 L/100 km city, 7.9 highway, and 8.1 combined.

Which Hyundai Palisade trim should I buy?

The 2026 Hyundai Palisade offers these trims:

• Preferred Trend: The entry point to the lineup, with the standard 3.5-litre V6, eight-speed automatic, AWD, dual 12.3-inch displays, wireless smartphone integration, and a broad safety suite; this is the best-value choice if you want the core Palisade experience.
• XRT Pro: Adds a more rugged look and off-road hardware, including chunky all-terrain tyres, 21.2 cm of ground clearance, improved approach and departure angles, an electronic limited-slip rear differential, recovery hooks, and Ground View Monitoring.
• Luxury: Adds the hybrid powertrain as standard, along with the Bose audio system and surround-view monitor camera system, making it the trim to consider if you want the strongest mix of efficiency and equipment.
• Ultimate Calligraphy: Brings the most upscale cabin treatment, a 12-inch head-up display, integrated front and rear dashcams, Highway Driving Assist II, and evasive steering assist.

What Hyundai Palisade do most buyers choose?

The Hyundai Palisade years with the most listings are 2025, 2024, and 2023.

These higher-volume years tend to attract more shoppers because they offer a strong mix of availability, newer features, and a wide spread of prices. More listings also give you a better chance of finding the trim, colour, and condition you want.

What is the Hyundai Palisade's resale value?

The table shows broad downward movement across the lineup, which can work in your favour if you are shopping used. The largest drops are concentrated in several newer and mid-cycle years, while a few model years have declined by a smaller amount. That creates a useful spread of value depending on how new you want to go.

The 2022, 2024, and 2023 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
