What should I look for when buying a used Hyundai Palisade?

Key things to evaluate:

• Fuel efficiency: Most gas-only 2026 Hyundai Palisade models have a Natural Resources Canada-estimated fuel economy of 12.2 litres per 100 kilometres in the city, 9.7 on the highway, and 11.1 combined.
• Infotainment: A second 12.3-inch colour touchscreen serves as the infotainment system hub, with onboard navigation and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
• Safety package: The 2026 Palisade offers a comprehensive suite of driver-assist features, including blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, forward collision warning with car, pedestrian, and cyclist detection, automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist, lane following assist, driver attention monitoring, safe exit assist, and front and rear parking sensors.

Which Hyundai Palisade trim should I buy?

The 2026 Hyundai Palisade offers these trims:

• Preferred Trend: The base trim starts the lineup and gives you the core Palisade experience at the lowest entry point.
• XRT Pro: This trim adds chunky all-terrain tires, 21.2 centimetres of ground clearance, improved approach and departure angles, a standard electronic limited-slip rear differential, recovery hooks front and rear, pitch-and-roll readouts, a compass readout, and Ground View Monitoring for buyers who want the most off-road-focused version.
• Luxury: This trim adds the hybrid powertrain as standard, along with the equipment step-up that makes it the best-value choice for many shoppers.
• Ultimate Calligraphy: This top trim adds a 12-inch colour head-up display, integrated front and rear dashcams, evasive steering assist, and Highway Driving Assist II with lane-change assistance.

What Hyundai Palisade do most buyers choose?

The Hyundai Palisade years with the most listings are 2025, 2024, and 2023.

These higher-volume years tend to be the most popular used picks because they give you more inventory to compare, which can make it easier to find the right trim, colour, and price. They also tend to attract shoppers looking for a newer Palisade without moving all the way to the newest model year.

What is the Hyundai Palisade's resale value?

The table shows broad downward movement across the lineup, which is good news if you are shopping used and want more value for your money. The largest drops are in the double-digit range, so buyers can often step into a better-equipped Palisade for less than the original asking price. A few model years have declined less than others, but the overall pattern still favours used shoppers.

The 2024, 2022, and 2025 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

Is the Hyundai Palisade safe?

For the safest used buy, the 2021 model posts the highest confirmed score of 10/10.

How does the 2025 Hyundai Palisade compare to the 2025 Kia Telluride?

Our experts score the 2025 Hyundai Palisade 9/10 and the 2025 Kia Telluride 8.2/10.

The Palisade and Telluride are closely matched on paper, with the same engine output and highway fuel figure. The Palisade’s lower average used price and much larger listing pool make it the easier one to shop, while the Telluride shows a slightly higher share of good and great deals. If you want the broader used-market selection and a lower average price, the Palisade has the edge.
