CarGurus recommends the 2015 Ford Fusion
Summary
With 82 currently listed for sale and an average price of $8,525 CAD, 29.3% of 2015 Ford Fusion listings on CarGurus are rated as good or great deals.
Favourably reviewed: Owners rated the 2015 Ford Fusion 5 / 5 stars.
Why it stands out
The 2015 Ford Fusion stands out as a midsize sedan that blends sharp styling, strong road manners, and a roomy cabin. Ford overhauled the Fusion for the 2013 model year, and this generation brought strikingly sharp styling, available all-wheel drive, and the Fusion Energi plug-in hybrid model. It also earned a reputation for being a capable, confident driver, with owners often praising its handling, spacious interior, and broad feature set.
For 2015, the Fusion sat in the middle of a well-equipped second-generation run that offered a wide range of engines and trims. The lowest-end engine was the 175-horsepower 2.5-litre Duratec, while other available choices included the turbocharged 1.5-litre EcoBoost, the 2.0-litre EcoBoost Turbo, and hybrid powertrains. The car’s back seat had 973 millimetres of legroom and the trunk measured 450 litres, so it was practical as well as stylish. Ford also continued to add useful technology and driver aids across the generation, helping the Fusion feel modern and competitive.
There are a few trade-offs to keep in mind. The non-hybrid gas models lag rivals in fuel economy, and the car was described as not as deluxe as its price tag suggests. Some owners have also mentioned seat comfort on longer trips. Even so, the 2015 Fusion remains appealing because it delivers a Camry-like experience with good driving dynamics, plenty of room, and a strong mix of features for the money.
