Is the 2019 Ford Fusion a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Ford Fusion earns a 4.7/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its comfort, stylish looks, and the amount of features you get for the price, and many also like its strong performance in higher trims. If you want a midsize sedan with a roomy cabin, a 450-litre trunk, and a practical, well-equipped feel, this model year fits that brief well. With 31.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 Ford Fusion reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback also points to a car that feels dependable and trouble-free for many owners, especially when you value comfort and features over flash. That said, some shoppers mention interior cosmetic issues and a few design quirks, so it is worth checking condition carefully on any used example. For long-term ownership, your biggest risk is buying a poorly maintained car rather than the model itself.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Ford Fusion?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on the best examples.

• Deal availability: 31.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 48 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.47% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $13,459 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Ford Fusion's resale value?

The current average of $14,058 CAD sits slightly below last year's $16,247 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the car easier to buy now but may also limit upside if you plan to sell soon. If you purchase at a strong price, you may be better positioned to protect your value later. The Fusion’s broad appeal as a comfortable, well-equipped sedan should help keep it relevant with used buyers.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Ford Fusion or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 31.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.47% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of features, comfort, and value in this generation, the 2019 is the one to target first. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby year may be worth considering, but the 2019’s combination of market softness and owner approval makes it the safer starting point.
