What Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD do most buyers choose?

The Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD years with the most listings are 2024, 2023, and 2025.

These higher-volume years tend to be the most popular used picks because they give you more inventory to compare, more pricing spread, and more chances to find a truck that fits your towing and equipment needs. They also tend to attract shoppers looking for newer features while still staying within the used market.

What is the Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD's resale value?

Most model years in the table are down year over year, which creates better buying opportunities for used shoppers. The sharpest drops are concentrated in the newer trucks, while a few older years show smaller changes or a rise in price. That mix suggests the Silverado 3500HD’s used values are moving unevenly across the lineup rather than following one simple pattern.

The 2020, 2022, and 2018 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

Should I buy a used Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD now or wait for the next model?
